I purchased this beautiful violin from Vince Cardell who was having a moving sale at his Nashville Home. Mr. Cardell was Liberace's most famous protege. You can see Vince Cardell on my space.com.

I brought the violin to The Violin Shop located in Nashville, Tennessee. Their clientele includes people such as Alison Krauss, Ricky Skaggs, Sam Brush and many others. The people who work there are top notch professionals. They were very nice and told me at no charge that my violin was a Nicolaus Amati made in Germany violin They said that it was in great shape and worth at least $1,200. They said the bow was not expensive. Inside the violin through the f ~ you can see Copy of Nicolaus Amati Made in Germany.

The case was signed by Vince Cardell which makes it even more a nice and fun collectible item. As you can see from the photos, it comes with several items. Again, I do not play an instrument, so my knowledge is limited. That's why my trip to the Violin Shop was a great resource.

Another fun addition is a small piece of paper I found in the case. I didn't take a photo because it has a phone number on it, but I will tell you what it says: "Heather Kolbrek - can teach brush up fiddler & violonist for Trisha Yearwood...". If you google Heather Kolbrek - you will see her perform at the Opry House on youtube.
