Introducing the amazing Deuce! Hes an incredible 2-3 year old Chocolate Lab and Bully mix who had some tough days early in his life, but he never let it get him down. Hes a very sweet boy and he loves attention. When he was rescued, he was emaciated and had been practically starved to death. But with proper love & nutrition he has gained weight. He now weighs a healthy 65 lbs and looks great. Deuce has poor eyesight as a result of the lack of nutrition he dealt with before he was rescued. Deuce likes to take long walks and really loves people. His foster family says everyone turns to look at him. They continually get comments about how amazing he looks and what an awesome dog he is. Hes really lovable! Hes a great companion and aims to please. Hes loyal and loves to cuddle. Hes also a wonderful walking/jogging partner! Deuce is housetrained and can stay by himself, content, for several hours at a time. He has a crate, but his foster family trusts him enough to let him roam free in the house. He usually ends up curling up on his bed and taking leisurely naps. He rides well in the car, usually just curls up and relaxes or naps. He is up to date on vaccinations, and has been neutered. He is also enrolled in a basic training course. Dogs Dig Nashville will provide a free training session with a certified trainer to the adoptive family to reinforce all that Deuce has learned. Deuce is a special pup looking for a loving forever home. Hes worked hard to become a great pup and friend.
