Dachshund - Small - Adult - Female - Dog - PJ

 Posted 9/1/07. PJ was turned into the shelter with her 4 puppies by a person claiming they were strays. All 5 dogs were in poor condition, underweight and possibly suffering from infection. All survived and all of PJ's puppies were adopted, so now it is PJ's turn to find her forever home! PJ weighs 17 pounds and is about the size of a standard dachshund. It is obvious there is dachshund in the mix but we do not know what other breed may be in the mix. Our vet estimates her age at 18 months. PJ is very people friendly and is also dog friendly, but she does not like to share her food with other dogs. She is spayed, up to date with vaccinations, heartworm negative, and has been wormed. PJ's adoption fee is $90. Our available pet list is kept up to date. We welcome inquiries and are happy to answer any questions from potential adopters...but PLEASE do NOT email us simply to ask if a dog on this list is available for adoption.
