 Posted 2/8/08. Jessie lost her home when her owner was sent to jail. She appears to be a purebred boxer. The vet estimates her age at about 4 years old. She is a bit on the small side for a boxer and weighs about 52 pounds. Jessie is generally a well behaved dog and can be trusted in the house as long as she doesn't have access to the trash can. She does like to rummage in the trash. She absolutely loves people, but she does NOT like young children or cats. She can be picky about her dog friends, and won't hesitate to let another dog know if they are bothering her. She has been kenneled with her boxer mix friend Willie and they get along fine. Jessie is an escape artist and will make every attempt to escape from any fence. She escapes by digging under the fence so if you have a fenced yard, it must be extremely secure at the bottom or Jessie will escape. Jessie is up to date with vaccinations, is heartworm negative, and has been wormed. Her adoption fee is $100. Our available pet list is kept up to date.
