Australian Kelpie - Medium - Adult - Female - Dog - Oakley

 Posted 2/28/04. We think Oakley is an Australian Kelpie mix. She exhibits all the qualities of an Australian Cattle Dog, but does not have the right coloring for an ACD and my ACD rescue people tell me that's a Kelpie! Oakley does NOT like to be pushed around by people, so we recommend no small children. She needs a person experienced with cattle dogs and with dominant dogs. She is sweet and lovable, but needs to be firmly disciplined or we see the potential for her to get out of control. She gets along great with the other dogs and doesn't seem to mind begin pushed around by them. She also loves to play with cats. She is approximately 10 weeks old (as of 2/28/04). Oakley is spayed, up to date with vaccinations, and has been wormed. Her adoption fee is $90. Our available pet list is kept up to date.
