 Posted 5/14/07. Dena is one of 10 puppies that was dumped on the road in front of the house of someone who formerly worked for us...so he called us! We somehow made room for these unfortunate 10 puppies because we knew they needed help and felt they were highly adoptable. They are approximately 11-12 weeks old (as of 5/14/07), which means they were probably born some time in February 2007. It appears there may be 2 litters of puppies...1 litter of 7 that appears to be australian cattle dog/border collie mixes...and 1 litter of 3 what appear to be rottweiler/ lab mixes. Although they appear to be the same, or close in age, we feel they are not likely all from the same litter. Dena has not left our rescue since she was a very small pup, except to visit the vet's office to be spayed. Since she was not adopted as a young pup, she did not receive enough socialization outside of our rescue. She is fine with us, but very fearful of strangers and absolutely will not approach a stranger. She needs a special home where she can get the proper socialization. Dena is spayed, up to date with all vaccinations, and has been wormed several times. Her adoption fee is $90. Our available pet list is kept up to date. We welcome inquiries and are happy to answer any questions from potential adopters...but PLEASE do NOT email us simply to ask if a dog on this list is available for adoption.
