Akita - Large - Adult - Female - Dog - Pebbles

 Posted 12/10/04. Pebbles looks like an Akita mix, but could also be a Husky mix as some of her siblings looked like Huskies. The litter of 5 puppies that Pebbles was part of had a very rough start in life. Their mother had them outside this past August, then disappeared when the pups were about 3 weeks old. They were turned into the shelter and we took them in. We tried so hard to save them all, but in the end were only able to save Pebbles. After a few vet visits and plenty of meds, she is now very healthy and growing. Pebbles loves people and playing with other dogs. She is very gentle and loving. Now that Pebbles has grown up and is still with us, she has reached a mature weight of about 60 pounds. We figure she was born around 8/11/04, but don't know her exact birth date. We are hoping someone will open their heart and home to this lone survivor in life. Pebbles is spayed, up to date with all vaccinations, and has been wormed several times. Her adoption fee is $90. Our available pet list is kept up to date. We welcome inquiries and are happy to answer any questions from potential adopters...but PLEASE do NOT email us simply to ask if a dog on this list is available for adoption.
