Hi, my name is Antonio-Tony to my friends. I'm called a Great Pyrenees Mix-maybe with Landseer Newfoundland Dog. My foster Mom doesn't like this picture of me...she says I look like I'm in jail. We were planning on taking new pictures, but it has been raining and raining here. I like to take long walks, ride in the car, and eat yummy treats. My foster Mom says somebody is probably just waiting for a big, calm furry boy like me to love and I am very special and need someone especially wonderful to adopt me-could it be you? The Great Pyrenees Dog is a working breed that has been around for thousands of years. They are frequently used on farms as Livestock Guardian Dogs to protect goats and sheep (et. al) from wolves, coyotes and bears. However, most of our rescued Great Pyrenees Dogs are placed as family companions.
