This drive will significantly speed up your boot-time, access to applications, and overall windows performance. The HDD is about 8 months old and I no longer have a use for it after changing to a notebook that has a SATA interface. Some quick product specs are that it's a 2.5" HDD size, 8MB buffer, ATA/IDE interface, 7200 RPM spin, and 80GB in capacity. I haven't formatted the drive but can if you prefer.
